I calculate that it crashed near 34°25.75' N 3°58.96' W at 09:26Z December
5. It was floating around 35,000m. From 09:08Z to 09:22Z it dropped at the
rate of about 2,200m/min. No report since 09:22Z.

The balloon has made it across the Atlantic, and is just off the coast of
Morocco.
Still at around 115,000 feet. Travelling just 70mph.
Some friends in the Azores were listening, but did not hear anything on
144.390.

Launched in California at 11pm last night, and now over Kansas.
Not sure whether they are attempting a round the globe trip or not...
Also wondering why there are such wild GPS errors (take a look at the
track).
