this guy makes interface boards to connect LCD panels with touch sensors
to several of the popular single-board computers.
go to the STORE and you'll see them listed.
The most interesting is one i haven't seen before, the IGEPv2,
which is built by the people at
www.isee.biz
It's a *very* nice board with essentially everything built-in.
* DM3730 Texas Instruments processor <http://www.ti.com/product/dm3730>
* ARM Cortex A8 1GHz
* C64+ DSP 800MHz
* 3D Accelerator SGX530 @ 200 MHz
* Camera ISP
* 512 Megabytes RAM / 512 Megabytes FLASH
* Ethernet 10/100 MB BaseT
* Wifi 802.11 b/g
* Bluetooth BC4 - Class 2.0
* Video: DVI-D (HDMI Connector) programmable panel size
* 2 x USB
* MicroSD card reader
* 3 x UART
* Stereo audio in / out
* Expansion connectors
* All included inside 65mm x 95mm form factor
But WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!!!
toodle on over to ...
http://www.isee.biz/products/igep-radar-technology
and prepare to have your eyes bug out. a 24GHz (K-band) FMCW Radar board
that mates with the IGEPv2 to do the signal processing! (remember
there's a DSP
in there with the ARM A8 core!). Here's there blurb. NOTE THE
OPEN-SOURCE PART!
The /*IGEP^(TM) RADAR LAMBDA*/ can accurately measure distance, velocity
and physical
properties of objects.It includes an IGEP^(TM) v2 for fast radar signal
processing and
full connectivity. In addition, we supply all the basic open source code
to easily
interface with the radar and start your specific signal processing
application.
The radar module is *beautiful*, too. Micropatch antenna array,
programmable
DSS VCO, PGA into a nice ADC... way, way cool SDR.
