At work we use Dell computers with docking stations.  Dell, as you may 
be aware uses a docking connector on the bottom of the laptop that 
passes ALL functionality - video, network, usb, etc.  It looks to be 
extremely fragile.  I am amazed at the abuse this connector can take in 
the process of aligning it to snap into the docking station.
