On the other hand - BPL is pretty much dead.  It turns out the utilities 
do not want to be in the ISP business, and there isn't much "B" in BPL 
anyway.  Some utilities (mainly in Europe) still want to read meters via 
the power lines, but data rates are minuscule for AMR.
