Google beams internet from balloons

Yes, it is really dumb to use Helium for these things. It is an essentiallly non-renewable resource. Even the NWS is switching over to Hydrogen for their periodic sounding balloons at sites where they have a launch site separated a bit from an occupied building. And a bonus is that they can use a bit smaller balloon, and it will remain inflated longer. So let's hope they establish launch sites where they can safely employ Hydrogen. It's still a dumb idea, but at least it would not be wasting a scarce resource.
