I was out at the K4LRG site at the VHF station. We worked a number of
sky wave QSOs from noon to 2 PM on 6 meters. That station worked out
well. Bill Fenn also came out.
We also had a group of recent Technician class graduates getting their
Baofeng UV5R radios with a short class. Once done they went around
field day getting first class introduction to field day plus some on the
air operation. At least one youngster was really hooked at the VHF
station with over 10 QSOs with little help.
