Just looking at the Play Store. There are over 200 Ham Radio Apps. At 
$79.99 you can setup a tablet with only Ham Radio Apps and
fill up the memory real easy. LOL

My tablet is a Toshiba Scribe. 10.1 inch with wifi, USB, earphone/mic 
connector, and SD card interface. it runs Andri0d 4.04, so at least I am 
pretty much up to date. Toshiba is good about putting out the latest OS 
updates. That is the only thing I have about the
low cost tablets, is how easy are they to update.

Two apps that I am really enhances my shack are the ARRL Repeater 
Directory and the QST reader app.
