FW: Battery

Personally I would not mess with the battery. Take your dead one to a Radio
Shack - They have a way to dispose of it.

Lithium is some mighty nasty stuff when it gets out of the battery and
trying to charge one without the proper charger just might release the nasty
stuff or start a fire. I asked the folks at my local Battery's Plus store
if they could rebuild a Lithium-polymer battery from my Dell Lap Top and
they said they were not allowed to do that by law. They did say they would
be happy to sell me one from a secondary source. I am not aware of the law
they were talking about.

Subject: Battery

The Lithium Ion batteries in a small camera I own have 3 tabs, +, - and T.
The battery is totally dead, it read 0 volts. To test the camera I put 3.8
volts on the + and - connectors of the camera. It flashed on and then went
dead. I assume the T is a sensor of battery state. Should I connect T to
+?
