After the war these scopes were used on many projects. Do you remember
the late 50's Moonwatch program?
Some of these scopes were modified to accept larger objective lenses and
used to refine satellite orbits.

One of those old Edmund Scientific Moonwatch scopes now serves as a
finder on my 8" Newtonian reflector.
