Thanks to those that responded.

I think that 3D printers are another area that AMRAD - or others of a 
technical ilk - might be interested in.  They are becoming more mainstream 
all the time.  Maybe someone with first-hand knowledge of the hobby variety 
of these 3D printers could write up a newsletter article.  What is 
especially important would be things to look out for when looking to 
purchase a hobbyist 3D printer.
