That’s it – Prince William and Prince Harry were here in the states attending the wedding of a friend in Memphis, TN. While there they visited Graceland, home of King Elvis.
While the princes were en-route to the US Dr. Who was directing airborne security from his TARDIS. Once the royals were safe in Memphis Dr. Who diverted his course, without landing, to visit Disney Land in California He wondered how a Mouse could become a billionaire and had visited Graceland years ago while Elvis was alive. Upon his setting down in Anaheim, CA the gentlemen who man the security points at LAX discovered the TARDIS had bypassed immigration, customs and TSA security. TSA blamed the FAA computers for the lack security and against the FAA’s objections, started running diagnostics on the system to discover how this could happen and produce methods of preventing future security glitches when alien craft enter their airspace and fail to observe the rules. It all went down hill from there.
Does this impossible situation sound reasonable to you Phil?

So much for 60,000 ft altitude spy planes if any old airport can pick them up nowadays.
I suspect the real reason for the 27 flight cancellations was that an airport chef or aircraft cleaner failed to turn up for his shift, but this was not considered to be an acceptable explanation for the cancellations. In the UK, when we have similar problems, we blame the TARDIS flying over London and nobody complains.

U2 depot maintenance and production flight test is at Air Force Plant 42 in Palmdale. The Dragon Lady is a regular in cactus center airspace. Not sure why there would be an issue this time compared to any of the other flights that occur several times a week.

So this is the first time a U2 has flown over LA?
