Interesting board in Elektor

I received my latest Elektor today, and inside there is an article about the 
"Red Pitaya" board.  A board with a Xilinx SOC (FPGA/Arm, etc) a 
dual-channel 14-bit A/D & D/A @ 125Ms/s, and slower A/D & D/A, gig-e, USB, 
DDR, and other neat stuff.  It is target to be a do-all, programmable piece 
of test equipment, and costs $470.

This might be a real nice platform for SDR as well as lab test equipment.
