I'm sad to announce that my father died yesterday. Seems to have been a
heart attack -- we're not sure yet. We'll have a small family service later
this week.

He was with AMRAD about 30 years. He and I spent many happy Saturday
lunches at pizza (and EEB), working on packet radio, the Xerox 820 project,
spread spectrum, and more. Just two weeks ago, he, Terry, and I were
exchanging emails about how to get frequency-hopping spread-spectrum to
work on an Arduino. Thank you all for being his technical family all these
years.

He left behind a ton of ham gear. If you'd like any of it, we'll accept any
fair price. Just pass by this weekend to pick it up. Maybe after taco?
