Hey,
I can’t buy what is in this box for the cost. I picked one up on Saturday and now wish I picked up two.

Subject: Arduino starter kit at bargain price
Micro Center has an Arduino Basic Starter Kit on sale for $20. This has everything you need to get started with the Arduino and make some neat projects.
http://www.microcenter.com/product/435328/Arduino_Compatible_Basic_Starter_Kit
SKU: 342014 Mfr Part #: 337246 UPC: 618996979738
Northern Virginia/Fairfax
3089 Nutley Street
Pan Am Plaza
Fairfax, VA 22031
(703) 204-8400
Mon - Sat 10 to 9, Sun 11 to 6
The parts alone are worth more than $20:
Arduino UNO R3 board
IR Remote Control
IR Receiver
74HC595 8-bit shift register
A bunch of LEDs in various colors
2 7-segment displays
8x8 LED array
3 photoresistors
Flame sensor
LM35 temp sensor
2 ball tilt sensors
resistors and pot
buzzers
push buttons
breadboard
USB cable
Dupont jumpers
battery pack
The documentation link on the Micro Center website is not very useful. This kit is actually a re-brand of the Sainsmart kit that sells for $40:
http://www.sainsmart.com/starter-kits/uno-r3-smartkits/sainsmart-uno-r3-starter-kit-with-16-basic-arduino-projects.html
The Sainsmart link has good documentation for download with code for projects using all the parts in the kit with nothing else needed. There are some other projects that require additional low cost components.
