So Solly …, it will not work with NTSC.  PAL is the analog mode for England and a few other countries.  Europe is also running digital now.

I just received a camera I bought off of Ebay.  It was advertized as "NTSC", but is marked "PAL" on the case.  
Is this typical?  Will it work with NTSC?
