Yeah, I got my message this week, also. They are not really replacing the old Heath, as their kits, or at least this first one, is quite expensive for what it actually does. You built the original Heathkits because they were cheaper than factory built equipment. Their first kit is $150 for an AM broadcast band TRF receiver. Maybe a nice learning experience for a budding ham, but certainly not cost effective for the equipment.
