Anyone play with Tecsun portable receivers and antennas?

It does receive am just about as well with or without the t-bar antenna.

I have never tried to hear a beacon. Know of any off-hand that I should be
able to hear from Fairfax?

In terms of returns, they sell for more on eBay than I paid only 3 months
ago so the risk is low.
