Flux Gute Magnetometer

Hey Guys,

 

I hope it ok to post here I have done so before.

There has been a lot of great technical discussion over the years so I
thought I would ask if someone has ever built a toroid flux gate
magnetometer?

 

There's is quite a bit of info on the web about these and I have done a lot
of research, but alas I have not been able to get mine running.

 

The FG uses a toroid of hi permeability and is easily saturated by a
sine/square wave from a signal gen.

Here is a good explanation of the FG.

 

It seems as though every one on the planet has gotten these things working.

I need to speak to someone with practical knowledge of these devices.

 

Any takers or direction's?
