AMRAD Monthly Meeting March 9, 2016

AMRAD will conduct its monthly meeting on this coming Wednesday, March 
9th at the Dolly Madison library starting at 7:30 PM.  LARG members and 
others are welcome to attend.

Frank Gentges, K0BRA will discuss LF antennas and plans for the AMRAD LF 
antenna.  Those plans include testing with a prototype antenna at the 
site of John Westerman, W5ODJ, which is same site where LARG has 
conducted field day for the past several years.  You can hear what we 
have in mind and how the prototype antenna will contribute to the two 
new amateur bands at 136 and 478 kHz.

After the talk, members will have pizza to further discuss amateur radio 
issues at Rocco's restaurant.
