Thank you everyone for the kind words!

I was just telling Joe the other day how exciting it is to be included on this list....  hi hi!!  I have actually met Joe Walsh at the NAB Convention Amateur Radio reception a couple of times, but only as an awed groupie.

Seriously, it was a total surprise, and humbling!  I wish to thank whomever nominated me.  

This is also recognition of what AMRAD has done, as ALL the projects that I have been involved with have been a collaborative effort by several people, not just me.  I would like to share this with all of AMRAD, particularly Paul Rinaldo, W4RI, who has led AMRAD through its many successful contributions to technology associated with amateur radio.  May AMRAD continue this tradition!

Congratulations, Terry! 

As an aside, I was perusing the linked PDF list of previous nominees and was surprised to see that the President of the Republic of Indonesia (HoF Class of 2015, listed at the bottom of the last page) held US callsign WY2JKW, and so I went off and started googling to figure out how a foreign head of state held a US call.  Apparently that was more curiosity than the writer (and one assumes at least one editor) at CQ had, because as it turns out, he doesn't -- his callsign is actually YD2JKW.

Sent CQ an e-mail, now I'm curious to see how long it takes them to fix it.
