When you dont have an antenna with a BNC connector handy

At K0BRA (Metavox) I wanted to test a vintage spectrum analyzer which had
not been turned on in a while .... I wonder what the gain of that wrench as
an antenna might be. It sure picked up RF carriers ... see the short video
below.
