November AMRAD meeting

Reminder: the November meeting will be held Thursday, November

9th at Linaspace beginning at 7:30 PM. Address is 2701 Prosperity

Avenue, Fairfax Virginia, Suite 215. This is a short distance from

Tippie's Tacos. Al Rabassa, NW2M, will be presenting the history,

collecting, etc. of theYaesu FT-101 series of radios.  Al’s previously

scheduled presentation was delayed due to illness, so you have

another chance to see it.


The next meeting, to be held in December, will be our annual  business

meeting. Elections will be held for the Board of Directors, since several

current members will see their terms expiring. These are Bill Fenn, N4TS; 

Frank Gentges, K0BRA; and Rob Bowers, KA0SER. Board members

serve for a term of two years. Nominations will, as usual, be accepted

at any time up to and including the December meeting.
