Net neutrality

I think it has a lot to do with amateur radio insomuch that:

1) All aspects of ham radio now rely upon the internet and Hams pay
ISP's and broadband providers , all essentially monopolies, for
unimpeded delivery of internet services.

2) The FCC has become an agency run by lawyers and less by engineers and
corruption is afoot in all aspects of telephony and spectrum management.

Personally, I find it suspicious that Mr Pai has taken this position on
Net Neutrality (something the people want) within a week of his
political reappointment. For those who missed it, when the comment
period ran for this issue last year, the FCC comment system was crashed
by a DDos attack, though the FCC denies this, it happened, and I
experienced it when commenting on net neutrality along with the GMRS
rule modifications. The system was indeed down and Net Neutrality was
barraged with phony comments..
