Funny, I listened to a lot of Aussies and Kiwis over at the ITU and I found

nothing like one of their accents. However, we have a lot of both in the 

entertainment industry in this country, and it wouldn't surprise me to hear

one of them doing commercials.


Accents aside, I've heard nobody in the Internet business except the ISPs

(and of course, Ajit Pai and his two buddies on the five-person FCC) who

support this change. The web sites and app service providers seem to be 

unanimously opposed to it. Pai, who worked for Verizon before being appointed

to the Commission and may return there when he leaves the government, is

the cheerleader for letting Verizon, Comcast et. al. do whatever they want.
