AMRAD's February meeting...

will be held on Saturday, February 24th immediately following our customary

luncheon at Tippy's Tacos. It will begin about 2 PM and, as usual, will be held

at LinaSpace. The address is 2701 Prosperity Avenue, Fairfax VA 22031. It's

a few minutes away from Tippy's.


Our speaker will be Gary Sessums, KC5QCN, who was part of the "Force of 50"

hams who assisted with emergency communications in Puerto Rico following the

passage of Hurricane Maria last September. The operation is described in the the

December, 2017 issue of QST, page 66.


Gary will be joining us for lunch at Tippy's before the meeting and his presentation.


The luncheon and meeting are open to everybody. You don't have to be an AMRAD

meeting to join us.
