any local store for electronics components?

Hello Taco group - I am looking for any local store that has a collection of
hobby electronic parts (IC socket holders, PCB headers etc.) around the DC
metro area - Microcenter (VA or MD) doesn't have an system of organization
that makes sense, and the parts are rarely that useful, but that seems to be
the only one so far. Mouser is great, but you have to order a lot to make it
worthwhile (shipping eats up costs).


ideas?
