The November and December meetings will include the following:

Introducing BooyaSDRWeb Remote Operation. Further information is at:

The presentation will review existing BooyaSDR features, compare
BooyaSDR to other SDRs, introduce new remote operation features such as
Remote Desktop and BooyaSDRWeb and show a pvc antenna enclosure design.

NOTE:  Monthly meetings are held at Linaspace, 2701 Prosperity Ave, Suite 215, Fairfax, VA 22031.

The following constitutes an official announcement, in compliance with the club's

bylaws, of the annual business meeting of AMRAD.


The December 15th meeting will include reports of the officers, including a financial

report by the Treasurer. It will also include election of those members of the Board

of Directors whose terms expire at the end of this year.  These Directors are

Howard Cunningham and Richard Barth. These newly-elected directors will serve

for a 2 year term.


It will also be necessary  to select a new Director to serve for one year, to complete

the term of the late Frank Gentges, since the  bylaws state that there are to be two

Directors elected in even-numbered years and three in odd-numbered years.


Candidates for the office of Director may be nominated in advance, or at the December

meeting. You may nominate yourself. If nominating someone else, be sure that individual

is willing to serve. Advance nominations should be sent to bod at amrad.org mailto:bod at amrad.org .


There will also be discussion of future plans of the club and a report of repeater status.

Both meetings follow immediately after our usual Saturday luncheon at Tippy's Tacos. The

location of Tippy's is on the AMRAD web site athttp://www.amrad.org,  as is the location of

Linaspace.


Meetings are open to non-members, so consider yourself invited. Monthly meetings are
