I’ve played around with “QI” wireless chargers which use smallinduction loops at LF for charging cell phones, etc. up to ~15 W power. There’s a protocol and thecharger ‘pings’ until it sees a ‘receiver’ and not a random piece of metal. Youcan get kits on Amazon/Ebay, cheap, to try. I suppose the ‘EV” car charger isthe same idea when you scale up the size.
