T-mobile 600 MHz

I just saw an ad on TV for a new 600 MHz T-Mobile band.  In the ad they 
claimed much better coverage in the boondocks, though they probably 
didn't word it that way.  It is probably true about the coverage, but 
that ain't what concerns me.  What concerns me is what happens if the 
public is trained that lower frequencies might give them better 
coverage.  What I'm thinking of is the 70 cm band might be soon under 
threat.
