Virtual school

I've heard lots of opinions on Virtual learning, it is a political 
football.  What I would like to hear on this list is some technical 
chatter about what is going on behind the curtain.  Are all these 
sessions putting any strain on the system.  Are there problems in the 
clouds?  Any exploits at work?
