The Virginia Department for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (VDDHH) is seeking
secretarial and administrative support to the agency Director and Program
Managers.  This position serves as the principal point of contact for those
seeking the agency head and will be responsible for receiving and
disseminating confidential documents and consumer mail. The position provides
back-up support for switchboard and reception duties, coordinatesrecord
retention, monitors supply inventories, and assists with the coordination of
sign language interpreters for non-court related requests.  

Applicants should have considerable experience in a variety of secretarial,
and support functions.  Demonstrated skills in the use of text telephones and
related assistive technology, knowledge of deaf culture, and sign language
