Topic: StarBand=99 Two-Way Satellite Internet to
the Home

Starband=99 is the first offering of affordable two-way

The 2ft by 3ft VSAT will also carry DISH TV service. It is

of the US this is will be the only wide band service
available, costing only $60/month.

The talk will focus on the communications engineering
and network design of the system-- discussing the
important subjects load handling, IP design, dynamic
bandwidth allocation, and security aspects of the system.
