My friend Amanda who works for Google has talked with the folks behind
TechShop about one for the DC area, and there is the perception at
least that there is either insufficient or insufficiently concentrated
demand for a TechShop in this area.  To put the latter clause in
perspective, would you frequent a TechShop in Gaithersburg?
Annapolis?  Manassas?
