is anyone using a SteppIR antenna???

i'm looking at finally ordering my tower
and antenna, so i've been reading the
SteppIR mailing list. Frankly, it's a
bit discouraging. admittedly one only
sees people with problems on the list,
but from the explanations posted which
are allegedly from tech support at SteppIR,
some of these problems are much less random
events that one would like to assume.

so does anyone on the list have a SteppIR and
if so, how reliable, etc, has it been?
