Gas Pedals are Complicated

My friend Doug's early Explorer had a problem wheren when he drove
through a radar trap the remote control locks would go through a
lock/unlock cycle repeatedly with attendant chirping of the horn and
flashing the headlights.  Needless to say he was not thrilled with
this and prevailed upon the folks at the dealership to fix it posthaste.
