I am glad I know about this early on.  I have a Canon SLR that I have not used for some time.  It turns out it used a Mercury cell battery.  Now I have time to find a suitable substitute.

I will bring along a Canon FT ql and a Mamiya ZE quartz.  Hopefully, I will have fresh cells for all.

Thanks for the heads up Sandy.  Everyone should check out their gear now while they have time to work out the wrinkles.
