W and K callsigns

The visit to the WMAL transmitter site was a reminder that many callsigns
meant something at one time. WMAL was founded by the M. A. Leese Optical
Company. The station website has a good history as does Wikipedia. WTTG was
named for Thomas T. Goldsmith, Jr, DuMont Network's chief engineer. My
hometown Chambersburg has stations WCHA and WCBG.
