Hi Dave,

I have several neteon servers
(http://www.neteon.net/Category/340-3/Serial-to-Ethernet ) that plug
into your router then on the client computer a driver makes them look
like a serial port local to the computer. We were trying to use these
with a TNC in KISS mode but that did not work. seemed to work fine in
terminal mode.

We were using windows XP on the client. Some of the other ones had
divers for Linux and Unix. The little servers also had a built in web
server to do configuration management remotely. There was also some sort
of tcp/ip client.
