a very cute idea - a simple box for keeping connections dry

this is one of those head-slapper products.

an injection molded box with locking snap handles
and soft silicon jell pads at the openings that can
deform around cables.

it isn't submersible, but it's very clever and for not much money.
a few cable glands alone will easily equal the cost, and then you get
to deal with getting a connector through the gland.
(more likely removing and replacing the connector)
again, it's not IP6X, but a lot better than a plastic bag and grey tape.

i would think this would sell well at hamfests.

the box below is but one of the sizes they have
and they even make it in green plastic, for, i assume,
"lawn and garden" applications.
