Would that I had the time / inclination / opportunity to waste my students' time in a similar way. However, I suspect that this is exactly the sort of thing that many of my non-science-lecturer colleagues would consider to be "immensely creative".

Personally, I find a couple of daft science jokes and an occasional "fascinating science fact" rather more effective.
