  That may be the case with B5/6 radio chargers but I remember reading 
comments posted on the Yahoo Baofeng club site that leaving the UV-5R 
battery on charge too long will fry it. Once the charger LED turns green 
I suspect the 'smart' move would be to cease charging, just to be safe.
