I made a mistake, it was Bill Liles who brought the Pioneer Kit to Tippys.

I have spent today, while recovering from a chest cold, tinkering with this
Kit and find it to be an interesting board.

Last Saturday at Tippys, Glen brought in a new development kit that is being
offered by Cypress Semiconductors. It is Arduino Compatible when it comes
to Arduino Shields but that is just a beginning. The system Cypress has
come up with is very much like an FPGA chip with analog features. The
programing language consist of drag and drop logic and analog circuits.
Cypress also provides the programing software at no cost. This software is
not like the Arduino's. Cost of the development board is reasonable -
$25.00.

Two boards were ordered last Monday and they arrived at Frank's lab today.

This board has lots of memory with a clock of 48 Mhz. It is definitely not
a Raspberry pi or Beagle Bone but it is not an Arduino - If anything it is
more than an Arduino.
