The blue LED versus Bluetooth

Shuji Nakamura invented the blue LED; Jaap Haartsen, Bluetooth. In so
doing, each really did change the world, which is why the two scientists
will appear together on May 12 in Washington, D.C., to be inducted into the
National Inventors Hall of Fame.
