Those interested in FPGAs such as we are using in the Charleston SDR may 
find an emailed newsletter from Electronic Design News a source of 
useful information.  EDN has been a trade magazine that has covered the 
new technologies over the years.  You can subscribe to the magazine by

I suspect they will add anyone to the list and also anyone to the 
electronic version of the EDN magazine.
