I heard a short discussion of the very large Chinese search engine on 
WTOP's Tech Talk.  It is in Chinese language so we may have trouble 
reading those things found in the native language but I found lots of 
stuff in English.  And then there is Bablefish if you want to get a 
rough machine translation.  Go try

and see if it turns up some new and obscure information on your favorite
