Jansky Antenna

Absolutely fascinating!

The current Jansky antenna has a feedline connected to the reflecting
element.  In the Jansky schematic, there does not appear to be any
connection.  A paper by N6LF (attached) suggests such a connection would
be necessary. Anybody in Taco-land figure this out?
